About Culturalee
Culturalee is a celebration of the rich global tapestry of culture, including art exhibitions, museum shows, art fairs, cultural destinations, Biennales, design, film, fashion, festivals, photography, literature and theatre.
Culturalee highlights some of the most exciting talent and hotbeds of culture around the world with interviews, reviews and features.
Founded and edited by art critic, writer, curator and creative communications specialist Lee Sharrock, Culturalee is designed as a creative hub providing a platform for upcoming and established cultural innovators, tastemakers and creators in all forms of culture.
Culturalee founder Lee Sharrock is former Saatchi & Saatchi Head of Global Creative PR and Cannes Lions New Directors' Showcase PR director, and a former Forbes Arts Contributor.
Culturalee Content Editor Sky Sharrock is an experienced cameraman who has worked on Hollywood movies including Cold Mountain, Harry Potter, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus and Iron Man II. He was Director of Photography on award-winning short films shown at Cannes Lions and the Design Museum, and his artwork has been featured in a Christie's Auction and at 99 Projects Gallery.
As well as creating cultural content and spotlighting highlights of the world of culture, Culturalee also offers a curatorial service and publishes an emerging artist column as well as 'Culturalee in Conversation' and 'Cultural Innovators' interviews with established and emerging artists and creatives.
Lee has worked with a wide range of cultural institutions, galleries, artists, filmmakers, creative agencies and charities including; 99 Projects Gallery, Alexander Newley, Arms Around the Child, Art on a Postcard, Bowman Sculpture Gallery, Bridget Riley, Christie’s, Colnaghi, Derrick Santini, Gazelli Art House, Guirado Estate, Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), Istanbul Biennial, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Macmillan Cancer Support, Maxim, PRETTYBIRD, Rob and Nick Carter, Serviceplan Group, The Adelaide Salon, Timothy Taylor Gallery, Winston Branch and Yurim Gough.
