Recognised as a leading figure in the new wave of art entrepreneurship, Mr. Controversial has swiftly cemented his status as one of the most electrifying and discussed talents in the UK art scene. He boasts a staggering portfolio of over 20 sell-out exhibitions, collaborations with prestigious luxury brands, and a fervent collector base comprising established art aficionados and celebrities alike.

“Waran’s Fine Art is excited to open our first gallery with ‘The Billionaires Series.’ This exhibition highlights Mr. Controversial’s bold talent and reinforces our mission to invite a wider audience to experience and appreciate contemporary art in all its forms…” Waran’s Fine Art
‘The Billionaires Series’ will go on display from 5th June 2025 until the 5th July will feature the artist’s signature dark humour and satirical multimedia creations that challenge societal norms and provoke meaningful dialogue. The new works dare viewers to contemplate the lengths individuals will go to infiltrate an elite circle—a master tactician, a decision-maker, and a visionary who may become ice-cold in their relentless pursuit of ambition.
“To be part of this elite club, one must become a master tactician, a decision-maker, a visionary; in some instances, utterly ice-cold. What tactics and tools are employed to achieve one’s ambitions ultimately shape who we become…” Mr Controversial

Delving into the dark underbelly of capitalism, this unfiltered series offers a satirical exploration of aspiration and ambition. With an arresting visual style enriched by witty anecdotal texts, Mr. Controversial’s artwork is unmistakably vibrant and engaging, marked by its humour and graphic dynamism.
This latest body of work serves as an unflinching narrative on the themes of money, power, sex, and the primal instincts that emerge while vying for entry into this coveted world. As a self-taught artist, his exhibition not only reflects his personal victories but also his professional journey through the realms of advertising, entrepreneurship, and fine art. His insatiable curiosity and determination to succeed, bolstered by a wealth of experience, resonate throughout his multi-media artistry—drawing inspiration from oil painting, photography, graphic design, film, silk screen printing, and collaborative projects within his “Warholian” Controversial Studio.
Deliberately ironic in both subject matter and execution, Mr. Controversial is renowned for his striking graphic texts emblazoned across large oil paintings. This series exudes a consciously photographic essence, utilising imagery that evokes a visceral sense of wealth—iconic luxury items, 70s erotica, currency, and even a knuckle duster!
His work, decidedly not for the faint-hearted, pushes boundaries with symbolic imagery and satirical yet relatable captions, a consistent theme throughout his flourishing artistic practice over the past five years.
“It is primal human nature for individuals to pursue self-preservation and ambition. Initially, we fight for survival, but soon we seek power, dominance, and riches… the real question remains: how far will one go, and who will they become in the process?” Mr Controversial
The ‘Billionaires Series’ also continues his elaborate multi-disciplinary methods, interweaving oil painting, digital art, silk screen printing, and more, while paying meticulous attention to detail through dedicated layers of process. The images, expertly curated and infused with anecdotal text, an enduring hallmark of his oeuvre, demonstrate his ongoing fascination with psychology and the complexities of the human condition.
‘The Billionaires Series’ is on display from 5th June 2025 until 5th July at Waran’s Fine Art 302 – 304 Fulham Road, London.
