Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2025: Celebrating a Decade of Cutting-Edge Contemporary Printmaking

Internationally acclaimed Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (WCPF) returns this November for its milestone 10th anniversary edition, solidifying its position as the world’s leading art fair dedicated exclusively to original contemporary printmaking.

Taking place at the historic Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, South East London, the four-day fair runs from 13–16 November 2025, featuring a vibrant programme of exhibitions, artist talks, panel discussions, and exclusive print releases.

A Decade of “Art That Leaves an Imprint”

Since its inception, WCPF has championed innovation in printmaking, offering a vital platform for emerging artists, established galleries, non-profits, studios, and print institutions. The 2025 edition celebrates 10 years of redefining the print medium, breaking down misconceptions and opening new pathways for creativity, accessibility, and artistic expression.

This year’s theme, “Art That Leaves an Imprint”, highlights WCPF’s enduring commitment to pushing the boundaries of what contemporary print can be — both as a fine art form and as a democratic medium accessible to a diverse audience of collectors and art lovers.

Unique Fair Format: Equal Space for Independent Artists and Leading Galleries

What sets Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair apart is its pioneering 50/50 format, equally divided between gallery booths and the “Curated Hang” – a meticulously juried exhibition of over 400 independent artists, selected from more than 6,000 global submissions through WCPF’s annual open call.

This model offers unrepresented and emerging printmakers the rare opportunity to exhibit alongside established names and galleries. For collectors, the Curated Hang is a trusted source for discovering rising talent and acquiring high-quality, original artworks at a variety of price points. Over the past decade, many Curated Hang artists have gained gallery representation or been acquired by major collections thanks to their WCPF exposure.

We have always sought to present an alternative model to the traditional art Fair, placing established galleries and artists side-by-side with emerging names, and actively involving every possible part of the art ecosystem. Our goal is to show the very best international offering of contemporary artists experimenting in print, at whatever stage they are at in their career, and to create an inclusive, interactive environment in which everyone can enjoy and discover the glorious potential of this expansive artform.”
