Culturalee Founder Lee Sharrock has curated an exhibition of photographs by Alan Chapman at Cramer St Gallery in London.‘Alan Chapman – Unfiltered’ features images of iconic musicians, actors, Royals and models by celebrated British photographer Alan Chapman. The exhibition is on view from 5th–8th March 2026 with a book signing on Sunday 8th March.
‘Unfiltered’ is a chance to see a curated selection of compelling images captured across Chapman’s remarkable three-decade career photographing the world’s most famous cultural figures including Princess Diana, Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Paula Yates, Sir Bob Geldof, Paul McCartney, Liam Gallagher, Robbie Williams, Kate Moss, Courtney Love, Freddie Mercury and Madonna.

Alan Chapman began his career in the 1970s, quickly earning the reputation of being the polite
paparazzo. Chapman is a renowned photographer working regularly with Dave Bennett Agency, one of Getty
Images main contributors. He is widely respected within media and art circles and his limited-edition
prints have been sold at major art fairs in London and Los Angeles, and his work has previously been
exhibited at Proud Galleries, London.
Chapman’s discreet approach granted him extraordinary access behind the velvet rope, from glamorous late-night parties to major art previews and cultural events in London and Los Angeles. The natural, spontaneous images featured in ‘Alan Chapman – Unfiltered’ were photographed in a pre-Instagram era, before PR teams, curated feeds and digital filters. ‘Unfiltered’ captures the raw energy of the 80s and 90s.

The exhibition has been made possible through the support of Cramer St gallery Founding Director Christina Zahra, produced by CMJZ ARTS and with artistic direction by Mariya Boyko of No.15 by Invitation.

Alan Chapman will take part in a meet-and-greet and a book signing of his photographic book FRAME at a special event on Sunday the 8th of March, from 12 to 4 pm.
FRAME is the culmination of 30 years photographing the rich and famous at legendary late-night venues in London and Los Angeles. The book features many of Chapman’s favourite images and is available during the exhibition, priced at £75. The foreword to FRAME is written by US actor Adrian Grenier (Entourage, The Devil Wears Prada), who says: “I have my own copy and it sits well with my entire art collection. I love it.”

‘Alan Chapman: Unfiltered’ is at Cramer St Gallery, 13 Cramer Street, Marylebone Square, London W1U 4EA from 5th to 8th March, 2026.
