Brighton & Hove Pride returns on 1–2 August 2026 for its landmark 35th anniversary, bringing a spectacular line-up of global music icons, DJs, drag royalty and LGBTQIA+ talent to one of the UK’s most celebrated Pride festivals. Supported by Hayu, this year’s event embraces the theme The Power of Love, celebrating three and a half decades of community, visibility, activism and joy.
Taking place across the city, the weekend combines the much-loved Pride on the Park, the iconic LGBTQ+ Community Parade, and the vibrant Kemptown Street Party, creating one of Europe’s largest and most inclusive Pride celebrations.

A Star-Studded Pride on the Park
Pride on the Park, held on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August, boasts one of Brighton Pride’s biggest line-ups to date. Festival-goers can look forward to performances from legendary singer Diana Ross, BRIT Award-winning artist RAYE, Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Melanie C, Leigh-Anne, Jessie J and Self Esteem. Adding even more star power to the celebrations, RuPaul and Paris Hilton will appear in the festival’s prestigious Icons slot, promising unforgettable moments during the anniversary weekend.
At the heart of Brighton Pride is the annual LGBTQ+ Community Parade, which begins on Hove Lawns under this year’s inspiring theme, The Power of Love. With more than 125 community groups taking part, the parade remains a powerful expression of solidarity, equality and inclusion, celebrating the enduring values of protest, freedom, diversity and joy that have defined Brighton & Hove Pride for 35 years.

Dance Music Takes Centre Stage
The popular State of Us Dance Arena once again delivers an outstanding programme of electronic music across the weekend. Saturday sees acclaimed German producer Purple Disco Machine headline with his signature blend of nu-disco and funk-infused house, while house music pioneer Armand Van Helden closes Sunday’s celebrations with a set packed with timeless club classics. They are joined by an impressive line-up including The Blessed Madonna, HAAi, Daniel Avery, Girls Don’t Sync, I. Jordan, and many more, transforming the Dance Arena into one of the UK’s premier LGBTQIA+ clubbing destinations.
Beyond its headline performances, Pride on the Park celebrates the richness and diversity of LGBTQIA+ culture through an expansive programme of performance, cabaret and community events. Returning favourites include Legends Cabaret, The Cocoa Butter Club, Queer Town, and Party Bag, alongside new additions for 2026 including Bears in the Woods, Queer Soap Box, and Outro. Family-friendly spaces and community areas ensure there is something for visitors of all ages.
Meanwhile, the ever-popular Kemptown Street Party transforms Marine Parade into a colourful celebration of Brighton’s renowned queer nightlife. This year’s programme features appearances from Gok Wan, Bimini, Freemasons, Bailey J Mills, Woody Cook, and many more across multiple stages, bars, cabaret venues and music zones.

Pride with Purpose
While Brighton & Hove Pride is renowned for its world-class entertainment, its mission extends far beyond the festival itself. Since its inception, the organisation has raised more than £1.5 million for local good causes through the Pride Social Impact Fund, Pride Cultural Development Fund, and Pride Solidarity Fund, supporting a wide range of community organisations and LGBTQIA+ initiatives across Brighton & Hove.

As Brighton Pride celebrates its 35th anniversary, the 2026 edition promises to be both a spectacular celebration and a powerful reminder of Pride’s continuing role in championing equality, visibility and community. With an exceptional line-up of international artists, vibrant cultural programming and a steadfast commitment to social impact, Brighton & Hove Pride once again looks set to be one of the highlights of the UK’s summer festival calendar.
