Audio-visual artists Greenaway & Greenaway have made a name for themselves with epic immersive events and art installations, from The Who’s music video for the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony to the official opening ceremony film and 3D mapping for Waltham Forest Borough of Culture.

Since establishing a reputation globally for a pioneering practice involving reimagining public spaces through technology, Greenaway & Greenaway have created immersive installations for a host of cultural powerhouses including the Barbican, Roundhouse and V&A, and collaborated with giants of EDM from Chase & Status and Eric Prydz to the Pet Shop Boys.

Now the visionary duo wave their magic wand over a triptych of Grade II-listed K6 telephone boxes with Trialogue, a new audio-visual 3D installation created for Wembley Park’s free Art Trail.

Trialogue  breaths digital life into three iconic red phone booths, transforming them into three-dimensional art spaces. The phone booths were originally installed in the 1930s next to the then Empire Pool (now OVO Arena Wembley). After being removed from public view for many decades, they were purchased and restored by Wembley Park who brought them back to Arena Square in 2019. Trialogue is located in Arena Square between two of London’s most legendary venues, the OVO Arena Wembley and Wembley Stadium, and will remain on public display until March 2025.

Through interconnected LED screens, Trialogue weaves together waveform animations, abstract sound representations, and text with frequency patterns, speech-to-text visualisation, and emotion mapping. These elements create an immersive experience bridging heritage and innovation, inviting reflection on the evolving nature of communication in the digital era.

Watch a video of Trialogue here or experience in real life at Wembley Park Art Trail until March 2025.
