The London Original Print Fair returns to Somerset House from 14 to 17 May 2026, reaffirming its place as one of the capital’s most enduring and dynamic art events. Now in its 41st edition, the Fair continues to evolve, bridging centuries of printmaking while embracing a new wave of contemporary artists reshaping the medium.
Often cited as London’s longest-running art fair, the London Original Print Fair has come a long way since its modest beginnings with just 16 exhibitors in 1985. Today, it hosts more than 40 international exhibitors, ranging from leading institutions to specialist print studios and global galleries. Its unique appeal lies in its ability to bring together works spanning Old Masters to cutting-edge contemporary printmaking, making it a compelling destination for seasoned collectors and first-time buyers alike.

More and more contemporary artists are turning to printmaking, bringing it into their practice. As a result, the print collector market is growing. It is an exciting time to get into this space.”
Helen Rosslyn, Director of London Original Print Fair

2026 Highlights: Rediscovery, Retrospectives and Rare Works
This year’s programme offers a rich mix of historical insight and contemporary relevance:
Jeremy Fry: Unlimited
A fascinating revisit of a 1960s “art for all” initiative by industrialist Jeremy Fry. Once a bold experiment involving eight leading artists, the project ultimately became a rare and highly sought-after body of work. Fry’s sons, Cosmo and Francis, will present and discuss the series.
PALMER | SUTHERLAND: Revelation and Rediscovery
Presented by Abbott & Holder, this exhibition draws connections between Romantic and Neo-Romantic masters, offering fresh perspectives on their shared artistic language.
Ken Kiff Mini Retrospective
Courtesy of Hales Gallery and the Ken Kiff Estate, this focused presentation celebrates the artist’s commitment to printmaking—an integral yet often overlooked part of his practice, and a key influence on later artists including Tracey Emin.
Craigie Aitchison Centenary Installation
Marking 100 years since his birth, this special installation by Advanced Graphics London honours one of Britain’s most distinctive painters and printmakers.
A Global Platform for Print
The Fair’s international reach continues to expand, with exhibitors including major institutions such as Tate, The Hepworth Wakefield and Whitechapel Gallery. Alongside them are respected dealers like Jette Fine Art and Elizabeth Harvey-Lee, and leading print studios including Atelier Le Grand Village, Graphic Studio Dublin, and North London Printmakers.
Global representation is a defining feature, with participants from across Europe and Asia, such as Contemporary Tokyo, Trykkeriet in Norway, India Printmaker House, and The Muban Educational Trust, known for promoting contemporary Chinese woodblock printing.
As the art market navigates economic uncertainty, printmaking is enjoying renewed attention. Its accessibility – both financially and conceptually – makes it an attractive entry point for new collectors, while still offering depth and innovation for experienced buyers. The London Original Print Fair stands at the centre of this resurgence, showcasing how the medium continues to evolve while remaining rooted in centuries-old traditions.
